Deborah A. Blommer, the managing partner of Blommer Peterman, S.C., has more than 16 years of experience practicing in the default services area of law. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin (B.A. 1982, J.D. 1991), Deborah was admitted to the State Bar of Wisconsin in 1991 and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin in 1991. She is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association and the American Bar Association, and served as a Committee Member for the American Legal and Financial Network. Deborah is a past Adjunct Professor for Marquette University Law School, where she developed the curriculum and instructed the course “Starting and Managing a Law Practice.”

James M. Peterman was admitted to the State Bar of Wisconsin in May 1986 to practice in both the U.S. Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin and the Supreme Court of the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin. James received a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a major in Political Science and a minor in Business Administration from Marquette University in 1983 his Juris Doctorate from Marquette University Law School in 1986. He is a member in good standing of the State Bar of Wisconsin and served as a member of the Paralegal Advisory Committee for the Milwaukee Area Technical Institute. He has presented at Continuing Legal Education Seminars in the Milwaukee area and participated in client training sessions throughout the country.

Benjamin J. Pliskie is a partner at Blommer Peterman S.C. and focuses his practice in the areas of creditors’ rights issues, civil litigation, and real estate. He is a member of the State Bars of Wisconsin and Illinois, and is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts in the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin and the Northern District of Indiana. Benjamin earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2001. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a double major in Political Science and History from the University of Wisconsin in 1997. Benjamin serves as an Adjunct Professor for the College of Business at Cardinal Stritch University, where he teaches courses focusing on business law, business ethics, and American government.

Shannon K. Cummings was admitted to the Wisconsin Bar in April 1999. She is admitted to practice in the Eastern and Western districts of Wisconsin, the Northern, Southern and Central districts of Illinois and the Northern and Southern districts of Indiana. Shannon graduated from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee in 1993 with Honors and was admitted to Phi Kappa Phi and the Golden Key National Honor Society. She received her Juris Doctor from Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota in 1998. She is a member of the Wisconsin Bar Association and the Association for Women Lawyers.

Thomas C. Dill was admitted to the State Bar of Wisconsin in 1984. He is also admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 1975 and his Juris Doctorate from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 1984. A member in good standing with the State Bar of Wisconsin, Thomas has been a presenter at Continuing Legal Education Seminars in Madison and Milwaukee. He has past experience as underwriting Counsel for various title insurance companies.

Christina Demakopoulos was admitted to the State Bar of Wisconsin in 2007. She is admitted to practice before the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin, the Northern and Southern Districts of Illinois, and the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana. Christina received her Bachelor of Arts Degree with a major in International Affairs and a minor in Spanish from The George Washington University in 2002. She graduated cum laude from The John Marshall Law School in 2007, where she was Lead Articles Editor for The John Marshall Law Review. Christina is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, the Milwaukee Bar Association, and the Association for Women Lawyers.

Chaz M. Rodriguez was admitted to the State Bar of Wisconsin in 2007. Chaz is also licensed to practice in the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin, the United States District Courts for the Northern, Central and Southern Districts of Illinois and the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana. Chaz received his Bachelor of Arts Degree with a major in History from The University of Wisconsin - Madison in 2003. He graduated from The John Marshall Law School in 2007. Chaz is a member of the Wisconsin Hispanic Lawyers Association, the Hispanic National Bar Association, the State Bar of Wisconsin and the Milwaukee Bar Association. Chaz has spoken for The National Business Institute, The Milwaukee Bar Association and the American Legal & Financial Network.

Matthew C. Abad, Blommer Peterman’s Head of Operations – Indiana/Illinois, was admitted to practice in the State of Wisconsin in 1998, the State of Illinois in 1999, and the State of Indiana in 2005. In addition, he is also admitted to practice in the federal courts of all three states. Matt received his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1992 and his Juris Doctor from Marquette University Law School in 1998. Matt is an active member of both the American Legal and Financial Network (ALFN) and the Legal League 100, and is a regular speaker/presenter for both organizations. Matt is a frequent panelist for the ALFN’s bi-monthly HOT TOPICS in Litigation Webinars, speaking on issues that impact creditors and how to protect their rights in state and federal court.

Marie M. Flannery was admitted to the State Bar of Wisconsin in April, 2003. She is also admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin. Marie graduated from the University of Akron School of Law in Akron, Ohio, in 2002. She received her undergraduate degree from Lake Erie College, in Painesville, Ohio, in 1999, with a major in English Literature. Since her admission to the State Bar of Wisconsin, Marie has represented creditors in all facets of the default services industry. She has also served as a committee member and presenter for the American Legal and Financial Network, and has presented on the topic of residential mortgage foreclosures at continuing legal education seminars and other venues.

Scott D. Nabke was admitted to the State Bar of Wisconsin in 2001. He is also admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin. Scott received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2001. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree, having Graduated with Distinction, with a major in political science from the University of Wisconsin in 1998. He is currently a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin.

Russell J. Karnes was admitted to the State Bar of Wisconsin in 2010. Russ graduated from Marquette University Law School in 2010. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree with a major in History from The University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2003. Russ is currently a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin.

Dustin A. McMahon was admitted to the State Bar of Wisconsin in 2011. He is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin. Dustin received his Juris Doctorate from the Michigan State University College of Law, where he was a student supervisor of the Housing Law Clinic and board member of the Moot Court & Trial Advocacy team. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 2008 with a major in Political Science. Dustin is currently a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin.

Matthew V. Plummer was admitted to the State Bar of Wisconsin in 2011. Matt received his Juris Doctorate from Marquette University Law School in 2011. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree with a major in philosophy from Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana in 1992. He is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and is also admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin.

Mark J. Andres was admitted to the State Bar of Wisconsin in 2001. He is also admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin. Mark received a Bachelor of Science Degree with a double major in Marketing and International Business, as well as a minor in Spanish from Marquette University in 1998. He received his Juris Doctorate and Master of Business Administration from Marquette University in 2001. Mark focuses his practice in the areas of estate planning, estate and trust administration, and elder law. Specifically, he advises clients and provides legal services relating to the areas of estate planning (including the creation of wills and trusts for purposes of wealth transfer planning and beneficiary protection), incapacity planning (including the creation of durable powers of attorney, health care directives, and guardianships), estate and trust administration, probate, business succession (including succession plans for small business owners), and elder law (including planning for disability, long-term care, medical assistance – Medicaid, asset protection, Medicare, managed care, and overall payment for healthcare).
